Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Without a Trace (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the game.

Information we process

The game may process limited device and usage information, such as device type, operating system version, language, IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and an advertising identifier where permitted. This information is used to operate the game, maintain reliability, measure performance, prevent fraud, and provide advertising.

Advertising and analytics

Without a Trace may use third-party advertising and analytics services. These providers may collect device and usage information and may use identifiers to measure ad performance, limit ad frequency, detect fraud, and, where you have permitted it, deliver more relevant advertising. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

On iOS, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing an advertising identifier for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can change this choice at any time in your device Settings. Declining permission does not prevent you from playing the game.

How we use information

Data sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help us provide analytics, advertising, technical support, and fraud prevention. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money; however, certain advertising disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some privacy laws.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, legal, accounting, and reporting requirements.

Children’s privacy

Without a Trace is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so that we can review and address the matter.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data. You may also opt out of certain targeted advertising by adjusting your device privacy settings. To submit a request, contact us using the email address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date when changes are made.
